Who You're Dealing With

Heapwatch - the website and the app - is built and run by Viktor Jamrich Enterprises s.r.o., Dolná Poruba 10, 914 43 Dolná Poruba, Slovakia, EU (IČO 50657461; DIČ 2120415561; IČ DPH SK2120415561). Throughout this page, "we" means us and "you" means you or the company you're buying for.

Creating an account means you're on board with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If any of it doesn't sit right with you, we'd rather you didn't sign up - talk to us first.

What Heapwatch Does

Heapwatch is a workbench for firmware teams: live telemetry from your ESP32 boards, crash capture, and decoded stack traces you can actually read. We work hard to make it accurate and available, but we can't promise it will surface every defect in your firmware. The engineering calls - your code, your devices, your releases - stay yours.

Your Account

A few things we ask of you:

Sign up with details that are accurate, and keep them current.
Look after your credentials, and tell us quickly if you think someone else got in.
Take responsibility for what happens under your account and in your workspaces, including anyone you invite.

We'd rather never do this, but we may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, puts other customers or the platform at risk, or abuses trials and refunds (see the Refund Policy).

The Trial

New accounts get fourteen days free, no payment card required. It won't roll into a paid plan on its own and nothing is charged unless you go through checkout yourself. If you don't subscribe, paid features simply switch off when the trial is up.

Plans, Payment, and Tax

Plans are billed in euro at the price shown on the pricing page and at checkout, excluding VAT unless we say otherwise. When you subscribe you're authorising us and Stripe to charge your payment method for the plan and interval you picked, each period, until you cancel.

Prices can change, but never retroactively: we'll tell you in advance and the period you've already paid for stays at the price you paid. At checkout we'll ask you to confirm you've read these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy, and your service starts as soon as the payment goes through.

Everything about refunds, cancellations, and the 14-day consumer window lives on one page: the Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Your Data Stays Yours

Telemetry, core dumps, firmware artefacts, anything you upload - it belongs to you, not to us. You give us permission to process it for one purpose only: running and securing the service for you, exactly as described in the Privacy Policy. We're trusting you that you have the right to send us what you send.

Using It Responsibly

The short list of things that will get an account closed:

breaking the law, or using Heapwatch to harm people or other people's systems;
probing, overloading, or reverse engineering the service, beyond what the law expressly allows you to do;
sharing access around to slip past the limits of your plan;
cycling through subscriptions and refunds to get paid capacity for free.

What We Can and Can't Promise

We put real effort into keeping Heapwatch accurate and online, but the service comes "as is" and "as available", and what it tells you about your firmware is diagnostic information rather than a guarantee. To the fullest extent Slovak and EU law allows, we exclude warranties and disclaim liability for any damages — direct or indirect — including lost profits, lost production, lost data, downtime, or goodwill. Mandatory legal obligations still apply where required.

Which Law Applies

Slovak law governs these Terms, and Slovak courts handle disputes. We'd much rather sort things out over email first.

If We Change These Terms

Products evolve and so does the fine print. A new version gets its own permanent URL (for example /terms/2026-09-02) and /terms always shows the one currently in force. Carrying on using Heapwatch after a new version takes effect means you're happy with it - unless the law requires us to ask you more directly, in which case we will.
